COMICS
There were three Team 7 miniseries published by Image (with another in the works.) Their purpose was to tell the story of the fathers of the Gen13. By this time (late 1994) Gen13 had really taken off, becoming one of Image's most successful titles, and the time had come to reveal their past. Chuck Dixon was tasked with the writing of all three miniseries, and did an outstanding job. It was the first Team 7 miniseries that got me reading Image titles in the first place.
Team 7
This was the first miniseries, a story in four parts. It dealt with the team's exposure to the Gen-Factor virus and the survivors' next couple of missions as SPBs.
Team 7 - Objective: Hell
This second miniseries only had three issues. Its focus was the team's first battle against other SPBs, in this case a group of Russians during the Cold War era.
Team 7 - Dead Reckoning (Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr 1996)
The third miniseries depicted the events leading to the team's split and Miles Craven's relentless pursuit of their children.
Gen12
This fourth and last miniseries, currently in progress, will supposedly show us what happened immediately before the team's kids were born and whisked away into hiding.

Although it's not yet been proven (or disproven) it is possible that some of the DV8 are offspring of the Team 7 members.

Four of the five Gen13 members are children of Team 7 members; this comic is closely tied in with Team 7 history.
Deathblow (1993-1996)
This book revolved around Michael Cray's trials and tribulations. However, many of its issues (most prominently #20-25 and #26-29) dealt with the origins of Team 7.
Fire From Heaven (1996)
This was a massive crossover than spanned every WildStorm title and had 20 parts. In it, we learn the true nature of the Gen-Factor, as well as Craven's latest plans for the Gen-Factor and the members of Team 7. The heroes also have to deal with an extradimensional being of great power, Damocles, who allies himself with Kaizen Gamorra. This crossover was overlooked by many and ridiculed by some due to its sheer size and the fact that it cut into almost every WS title at the time. However, it's critical reading if you're a Team 7 fan. I'm pretty close to being able to read the FIRE FROM HEAVEN crossover in its entirety, after which I'll post a synopsis as it relates to Team 7.
Grifter (two series)

This 1996 one-shot features an adventure with both Team 7 members (Chang, Cray, Dane) and Marvel characters (Logan, Creed, and North before they were Wolverine, Sabretooth, and Maverick) unwittingly trying to infiltrate the same enemy compound. Larry Hama wrote it, and it's fairly good.
Wildstorm Halloween Special '97
This 1997 one-shot has three related stories. The first is a Team 7 story set before they were exposed to the Gen-Factor; the team ends up fighting a bat-demon and beating it, and the thing vows revenge. The second story is a Gen13 story, in which Fairchild and Burnout are targeted by the cult of the same evil god. The third story is a Wetworks story which deals with the bat-demon's final attempt to pass into our world. This comic was a neat little foray into unusual territory (at least for Gen13 and Team 7 - Wetworks deals with this kind of stuff all the time.)
